About Me

I'm Eitan Schuler, a technology leader with over 25 years of experience building and scaling software systems in high-growth environments. Based in Berlin and working internationally, I am developing a focused practice around technical due diligence and governance for software businesses.
My Approach
For investors, the most valuable diligence work surfaces both risks and value creation potential, supporting informed and evidence-based decisions. I approach this from an operator's lens — someone who has built and scaled systems, not just reviewed them.
For software startups, the same signals investors scrutinize — architecture, scalability, team setup, operations, cloud costs — are worth addressing early, well before a formal process begins. I write and think about what this preparation looks like in practice.
Background
My operator background includes leading cloud infrastructure, IT and security at LiveEO, where I helped the company grow from 25 to over 150 people and established IT governance and SOC 2 compliance from the ground up. My perspective is shaped by two pillars: a long technical career spanning cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and engineering leadership, and a recent Executive MBA from ESCP that deepens my ability to link technology with financial and strategic outcomes.
Beyond one-off assessments, I am increasingly interested in what investors need after the investment: a clearer and more structured view of how portfolio companies are evolving technically over time. That has led me into conversations around tooling concepts that could make ongoing technical visibility more practical and useful.
